#60: build a bike
This…..
minus Redline frame….
plus this
equals
Its done, ready to ride.
And finally, new bike plus old bike. A- and B-bike.
It took me about 4 hours to move over the parts from the Redline to the Ridley frame and get it all setup. Longer than I had hoped, but not bad for only my second complete bike build.

What size is that redline frame? Are you considering selling it?
FYI we met at last week’s Glenview CX race. I was in the maroon cyclocrunk tshirt and introduced my self as we were cleaning up.
Good luck at Nats and sorry you laid down that gorgeous Ridley.

The Redline frame is pretty small (for me). It is 50 cm. I am pretty sure Redline has not changed their dimensions (the frame is a Conquest Pro). I bought the whole bike for the parts, so I have little need for the frame…so yes, I probably will sell it. I planned to deal with that after Nats.

[...] My bars were being held together by the brake cable housing and the electrical tape I use to secure it. I am going back with Richey aluminum handlebar. I never liked using a carbon handlebar for cross…it sort of just came with the complete bike I bought to build my Ridley last year. [...]
