#178: busy moving…
Last weekend I did get out and ride (cx on Saturday and road on Sunday), but I have been pretty swamped by closing on and then moving into a house. So far I have been 3 nights in the house and so far so good.
Last Thursday, a bunch of guys from my team (Memphis Velo / Smith & Nephew) met a socialized with Floyd Landis. He was in town with Smith & Nephew (our sponsors and the manufacturer of his successful hip replacement). We all met in mid-town at Celtic Crossing. Ate some food, drank a few beers, and hung out. I didn’t stay too long since I was closing on my house the next morning.
Man, I am sorry that I didn’t say it was ripping good time… it actually was good to meet him since the Birmingham ride fell through a few week before (after the Pepper Place crit). There were probably about 10-12 people there, so I was only hanging out with the Floyd for a little bit.
