#39: Tenn. State TT
The rain stayed away and the weather was nice and cool for the 30k state TT. My legs were feeling stoved up despite my above average warmup….probably my lack of riding this week was the biggest reason… anyway, I failed to meet my target of 42:00 for the 17.5 mile course. I rode self-timed a 43:04, which is about where I usually have run for these sort of things (24.0 mph average). Andrea and Rick also raced. Andrea probably posted a time the mid-45’s, which probably was good enough for 2nd in the women and 1st in Women Cat 4. Rick raced the 50+, but I did not see him after the event to find out what happened.
I managed to get a few photos of Andrea starting. (I just missed getting some of Rick.) Here is the best one.

Update: My official time was 43:01. Andrea rode hers in 45:20.
